New QUANTIS Deliverables Available for Downloading

The final versions of QUANTIS deliverables D1, D2, D3, D4, D5 and D6 are now available for
downloading at the publications section of the QUANTIS web site.

Definition of Key European ITS Services and Data Types

The first deliverable of QUANTIS has been published. It introduces the four case studies to 
which the QUANTIS methodology for assessment and evaluation will be applied. The
EasyWay core services for Traffic management and Traveller Information have been analysed
regarding their data sources and need of information types. An extensive review of existing
quality definitions in the field of ITS has been undertaken and elaborated to find the most
suitable way to describe service quality . Finally, the deliverable briefly introduces the
cause-and-effect relation between service quality and its effects on socio-economic benefits
as well as additonal data quality aspects and quality management techniques.
